It’s safe to say that a woman’s hair is one of her biggest investments, given the amount of time and money she spends on beautifying it. For Mad Men star January Jones though, too much hair coloring proved damaging to her tresses, as Yahoo! Celebrity reports:
January Jones looks gorgeous as a blonde bombshell on “Mad Men,” but her platinum locks have turned her scalp into a scorched war zone — the actress has admitted that her hair is falling out after hitting the hair dye bottle too hard.
Back in June, January became a ravishing redhead for her movie “Sweetwater,” but she decided to become a brunette beauty in November. However, she had to go back to being a blonde Betty last week.
January Jones told Grazia Daily this about her hair loss: “I have been every color and now my hair is falling out in clumps. I’m going to have to shave it off and wear a wig!” The actress admitted that she likes being blonde best, so she probably won’t be stepping away from the bleach anytime soon.
The article also reports that other celebrities like Lady Gaga, Khloe Kardashian, and even Jennifer Aniston all experienced hair damage from fiddling with their locks too much. Of course, you don’t have to be a celebrity to know this fact. Between the various hair products you use, the weave you wear, and the constant perming and straightening, your scalp’s follicles can really be traumatized, hampering their ability to grow back.
Too much of abuse though, and hair loss may become permanent. If you don’t fancy wearing wigs to cover up hair loss, hair transplants are an excellent alternative—if you can afford it. Fortunately, you can get high-quality yet affordable hair transplants in Mexico through leading medical institutions like Baja Hair Center.
Hair is an integral part of any woman’s look, but the things you do to beautify it can cause the opposite effect. If you want to get back your beautiful locks, effective hair restoration in Mexico provides a safe and permanent solution.
