Hair loss is a problem that concerns men and women alike. An article published on FoxNews.com enumerated some of the reasons that cause a receding hairline. Two of the reasons mentioned are things that most of us can relate to:
Any kind of physical trauma–surgery, a car accident, or a severe illness, even the flu–can cause temporary hair loss. This can trigger a type of hair loss called telogen effluvium. Hair has a programmed life cycle: a growth phase, rest phase and shedding phase. “When you have a really stressful event, it can shock the hair cycle, (pushing) more hair into the shedding phase,” explains Dr. Marc Glashofer, a dermatologist in New York City. Hair loss often becomes noticeable three-to-six months after the trauma.
Emotional stress is less likely to cause hair loss than physical stress, but it can happen, for instance, in the case of divorce, after the death of a loved one, or while caring for an aging parent. More often, though, emotional stress won’t actually precipitate the hair loss. It will exacerbate a problem that’s already there, says Glashofer.
But stressful occasions seem to be common occurrences in life as most of us know it. Stress can come from your work environment, home life, or worse, both. If that’s any indication, then it’s safe to say that a lot of us run the risk of turning bald sooner or later.
We know too that a decreasing level of self confidence is usually attributed to thinning hair.
Once our self confidence is affected, our work, relationships and life in general would suffer as well. But fortunately, we can do something before baldness takes more from us than our hair. More to the point, we can explore the services of those offering effective hair transplant in Mexico, especially since topical treatments don’t work on some people. Most clinics that provide such services like Baja Hair Center have websites that makes it easier for us to send our inquiries. Gathering more information about the treatments we can consider through the same means would also work to our advantage especially if we have reservations admitting that we are considering such procedure.
By becoming aware that we can consider having a hair transplant in Mexico, there’s no more reason to stress over the possibility of becoming bald.
